An arts and crafts design cottage, with contemporary considerations, Chapel Street was a dilapidated cob cottage in a Dorset village that we helped convert into a 6-bedroom house. Its complementary extension, designed with a sedum roof, and made using the renowned and local Purbeck Stone, we crafted large sliding doors which welcomed a large kitchen, dining and sitting space for its occupants.
With only the external cob walls retained, we implemented careful, spatial designs to make the transformation a true success.
