Considered one of the oldest houses in southern England, Barnston Manor is a Grade I listed medieval building nestled in the Purbeck valley. The project required careful navigation of complex planning processes and detailed heritage specifications, so we developed a sensitive design that would preserves the property’s exceptional character and charm whilst future proofing its ongoing use for our client.

Delivering a full-service package-from architectural design and planning strategy to specialist conservation expertise- we retained the manor’s time-worn appeal while enabling its long-term stewardship.
