This Grade I Listed Manor House was formerly a tenanted farmhouse with a 1960’s institutional interior that required a sensitive design, sought to maintain the original character of the building, by reinstating the historic Great Hall and Parlour plan, whilst carefully working with the client to add texture and depth to the interiors.

Providing a full-service package, including architectural design, Listed Building Consent, and working with conservation builders, this Manor House was given a new lease of life.

A glorious Grade II listed grain barn in rural Somerset, we provided a successful design service for our developer client to obtain significant change of use for this listed building.

The finished design offered a three-storey building – with a complementary, cart barn conversion to be used as a modern open plan kitchen and dining space – the requirements (and charm) it needed to be approved.

The Yews in Dorset is a Grade II listed former parson’s house that we refurbished and extended for a private client. Working closely together, over several years, the strength of the relationship with this client made the process of gaining Listed Building Consent – which required extensive work and was previously denied for a former owner – all the more easy.

Our full-service contract included converting stables and outbuildings into a contemporary 2-bedroom annex and study.

This Grade II listed early Victorian country house in Dorset required careful planning, repair and refurbishment for a private client. The project balanced the client’s ambitions for more significant alterations against the constraints set by the local planning authority.
