Dorset House
This Grade II listed early Victorian country house in Dorset required careful planning, repair and refurbishment for a private client. The project balanced the client’s ambitions for more significant alterations against the constraints set by the local planning authority.
Negotiating that tension between a meaningful update for modern living and the building’s protected status was central to the project’s success, requiring close collaboration with conservation officers throughout.
